Four years after the foundation of the Gaelic Athletic Association in Thurles in 1884, some 250 miles away the first County Board was set up in Derry.
Owenbeg Derry GAA Centre
The Owenbeg complex will be split over two levels with the ground floor covering approximately 12,000 sq ft. Part of the complex will house the new 2,000 seater stand helping to transform part of the site into the county’s second county ground.
