2022 JFC Final: Craigbane lift title
Craigbane are the 2022 Premier Electrics Derry Junior Football Champions, following victory over Ballerin at a rain-soaked Celtic Park on Sunday.
Game recap
Craigbane 1-11 Ballerin 1-6
A first-half goal from full-forward Lee Moore set Craigbane on their way to a first title in 11 years. That score pushed Craigbane into a seven-point half-time lead, and they never looked back.
With Moore tallying 1-5, complemented by a solid supporting cast, Ballerin failed to get the scores required to make inroads on the scoreboard in the second period. Sub Sean McGinley notched a late goal but Criagbane had enough to get over the line and secure a five-point victory.
